You'll hear stories that span the ages, from ancient myths to modern urban legends, with musical breaks from my list of favourite tunes. I’ll also be including tales and interviews with my storytelling friends here in Winnipeg, across Canada, and abroad.

Grab your coffee and have a seat at my kitchen table while I bring you stories old and new, from near and far away. Special guests will drop in sometimes, and there is always music to cleanse the palate between stories.

Listen to a fascinating interview with writer/storyteller Ignatius Mabasa, who is visiting Winnipeg until December 14, when he returns to Zimbabwe. You'll hear him tell the story of Lionand the skinny Jacckal in both English and his native Shona language.

I will be telling the story of Ivan Tortik, a Breton Christmas story, and Toronto Storyteller Carol McGirr will tell the Icelandic story of Audun and the Bear. If there is time, I also want to include some short stories from Rene Fumeleau, a priest from France who has lived among the Dene people for over 30 years.
